A whole week off and boy did Miss Tripp rest, rest, REST!!! I was sick a good bit of the time, but now I'm doing much better. Once I got on my feet, I enjoyed relaxing around the house, taking some walks, doing a little spring cleaning, watching Netflix, and learning how to repair things around the house. I caulked cracks in my window sills, repaired nicks on the walls, painted trim around the windows, and even bought a wireless screw driver to put together a filing cabinet stand and a desk. I'm very proud of myself, and I see a lot of "around the house" projects in my future!
There was another important event I was apart of during the break. A group of teachers and myself gathered together on the steps of the statehouse and shared our thoughts and ideas about current education legislation being considered by our state government. We as citizens of the United States have a wonderful right, our 1st Amendment rights, of being able to publicly gather together to express our opinions and thoughts. My group also met with a legislator to share these ideas we feel very strongly about. I hope each of you will sometime during your lifetime will also evoke your 1st Amendment rights!

I had a very fun spring break. I was at my cousin Kelsea and Brody's house. We had a cookout with my friends. I was sick 3 days in a row. I kept my self busy by playing on the laptop and playing with my cousins. I also pratice softball. I had a super fantabulus spring break!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love spring break. I went to lots of places, here is one, I went to the the park. Then I went home and sleep till I can not sleep. That was th most fun loving spring break.
ReplyDeleteMy springbreak was awesome, because I got 2 go on a disney cruz...And that was really fun, and u can tell! i STAYED IN ROOM 204, and we had an indoor swimming pool! And on the back of the ship, they would tie u up 2 a rope and let u jump in the water! :)
ReplyDeleteDuring springbreak,my sister went to the Beach. I didn't go because I wanted to go skateting with my cousin. When I went to the skateingrink I kept on falling down. Now I have a bruce on my b..u..t..t. :(
ReplyDeleteI love my spring break it was so fun!!!!! whet I did on spring break is I whet skating at a birthday party!!!!!! After It was over we all whet to the mall to stall steven for hiss suprise party. He got so mad. But he was so happy whin he saw every one. That is all the fun things I did on spring break!

Mitzi is your bum feeling better :) John, I would have loved to jump in the water on the rope...I love, love things like that!! Haley, I was sick, too...no fun :( Well, I'm glad to have all my students back, and it's only 7 more weeks of school!!!
